“So, for our next project–we are building a swimming pool; not full-size; slightly, bigger then small, yo”, I exclaim as I sip my soda, “with a, large, diving board.”

“So, for our next project–we are building a swimming pool; not full-size; slightly, bigger then small, yo”, I exclaim as I sip my soda, “with a, large, diving board.”

“Frankly”, Bilta replies as he scans the digital.blueprints, “I’m stumped–I have no clue why we are doing this.”

“Sharks.”

I pause; I sip my soda; refreshing.

“Sharks”, I continue speaking as I look at the 24×36 plans, “we want to start preparing for shark.fest #4 by installing an inground alberca, yo.  We can get some real practice in one-on-one combat with a nurse shark.”

“No great whites?”

“Oh no!”, I reply as I shrug, “that would be fucking dangerous.  Instead, we are simply putting this in place to get some experience being in close proximity with a ferocious beast.”

“They are quite dangerous”, digital.Bilfty2.1 replies as he rubs his arm, “it lightly chewed on me in the first shark.fest.  It nearly broke skin and severaly hurt my feelings.  It was a fucking tragedy.”

“Yes, yo”, I continue speaking as I roll my eyes, “that’s why we need to make sure that you two are properly trained and ready for the next match.  I want this to be so epic that people are digital.talking about it for years.  We want this to be the biggest event of the year.  Then, next time, we will stop and move to a different event in the future.  This is a fun experience, but, ultimately, the real challenge is preparing for the next stage of our business.”

“It’s changing.”

“It always is, yo”, I respond as I sigh, “we want to make this a success and then we will look to see what other opportunities are out there; right now, let’s focus on finishing the installation of the pool for shark.fest and then see what happens.”

“What’s going to happen, yo?”

“You never know–especially, when it comes to the public.  You may have the best plan, or be certain of an outcome, but, ultimately, what is going to happen is contigent on what is requested; don’t push your hand but see what is played and what your opponent, or challengers, are showing.  Consider more then just the hand that you are dealt; what’s the game and what are the variables, yo.”

“That makes no sense.”

“I always do that”, I respond as I pick up a digital.shovel, “so how about you start digging the hole over there?  We can’t move the pool once the spot has been choosen, so make sure that you don’t put it too close to the tree or property line of the neighbor.  Instead, place it centered in the backyard, near the birdfeeder.  That will be a nice view when we are relaxing, yo.”

“I don’t think that I could relax in a pool of nurse sharks.”

“That’s the purpose”, I respond as I shrug, “in the middle of the storm, or challenge, keep your head–don’t be impulsive.  Keep your smarts about you; keep your wits.”

“Wits you want to cook the hotdogs, yo?”

“Yesterday, in the morning, on a Wednesday.”

“What’s that mean?”, Bilta replies as he puts the shovel into the dirt.

“It means that I cooked them this morning and they are in the refrigerator for when we finish”, I reply as wipe the sweat from my brow, “work hard and we can enjoy, later, hard.”
